Your Heart

Do not afraid to take your Heart back from the person who does not love you, no matter how deep in love you fall for them. Take back your Heart and give it to someone who knows how to water it. ~Jendhamuni

    Meri Zindagi Mujhe Yeh Bata,
Mujhe Bhool Kar Tujhe Kya Mila,
    Meri Hasraton Ka Hisaab Dey,
DiL Tod Kar Tujhe Kya Mila,
Tere 4 Din Kay Pyaar Se,
Mujhe Umar Bhar Ka Ghum Mila,
    Main Toot Kar Bikhar Gaya,
Mujhe Tod Kar Tujhe Kya Mila

Are we not to love those who do not love us? Why must we create the ideas of taking back Love when it is unrequited? Is it Love if its not shared? Sincere questions to you dear Jendhamuni.

+Miguel Salinas We are not taking back the love. Love is still there, unconditionally. But we need to hand our heart to the next person, the person who loves us and  is willing to take care and nuture this heart rather than let the heart die under the hand of someone who does not love us..So it's the heart. Heart needs to keep beating and must be healthy.

+Miguel Salinas Sort of both. Letting go, so the one we used to love can love someone else. And moving on, so we can love the one who loves us. A fair game.

Love is patient and kind, never envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude.  It is not irritable or touchy.  It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong.  It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out.  If you love someone you will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him.  This is from the Bible.  First Corinthians 13:4-7,13

+Miguel Salinas Agree…its about loving without expecting any thing in return..without any condition of giving or taking back…ones given…given…it entirely depends on the person who is in the unconditional love..

Good but practically is it so easy? So far I know pyar me DIL dekar waapis nahi liya ja sakta. Had it been so easy, people would not have called it LOVE, it would have been called business.
One thing more. When one loving heart starts beating for Someone, it is as difficult to give it to someone else as it was difficult to take it back from that Someone.

+Roxana Bravo Great idea. The best solution is to move on, but do not those you used to give your heart to. Otherwise, it's not right. You can save your heart for the next person, but do not hate the former lover, my dear. So happy to hear from you.

+Roxana Bravo Take your time. Just forget the unpleasant path, and move on. Things happens for a reason. Who knows, your soul mate perhaps meant to me a billionaire! 😉

Love means Love. No taking back. People, who have been in Love at any point of time will appreciate that Love has always been giving but never taking back. If you feel need to take back your heart, I doubt it was Love. It would have been Lust hidden somewhere behind that Love.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
