Adding to what I was really trying to say, being able to really FORGIVE someone & yourself is the most difficult lesson of all when someone did so much harm, physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually! It happened to me many years ago, my heart was full of anger & bitterness, not because what the person did to me, but my whole family suffered. My brother almost died for one, throughout the years that person continued to cause pain. With constant prayer and meditation, I was able to forgive that person & myself for having anger, bitterness & had lived in misery.
It was the MOST DIFFICULT LESSON I HAD TO LEARN! You see, forgiving someone who put you & your whole family through pain & suffering for many years, it wasn't easy, but as Jesus Christ said, "Love your enemies." I finally understood what that meant. Now I send that person LOVE whenever I pray. WHY? You all know about Karma, "What goes around comes around.", "You receive what you give." , these are all true. When you send love or hatred, if the person's higherself choose not to accept it (love or hatred), it comes right back to you. After all we have free will. So, when you send LOVE & the other person rejects it, love comes back to you, no harm done. You can do this to people who are miserable, bitter for they are the ones who need LOVE the most. Please try not to judge for we are all God's children, show compassion & kindness, smile when you see someone who seems unhappy and always lend a hand when someone needs help. After all that is the REASON why God put all of us here on earth for us to learn & help each other.
