1. You really care about them.
2. They don't really care about you.

    I think if we care or love someone, we hope for a promt reflaction of that which is like " investment and return " , that may one of the reasons behind that.

    It happens all the time that even how much u care a person theres still this intention that u will be hurt its a reality that they dont care about your feelings to be hurt bcoz they not appreciate what u hve for them….they not care bcoz they are not the one who is hurt..
