Talking Leaves

Happiness… is always Free!
Doesn’t cost you a dime, not even one penny.
Open your heart… look closely…
You will see, Happiness in your eyes.

Look at those falling leaves!
Do you feel Peace, in your heart?
Leaves… of course, are free of charge,
Rich or Poor, can enjoy.

Leaves are talking to you!
Do you know, what they are saying?
Flying closer and closer,
Like messengers, from the Heaven.
Delivering an important message,
That will read, as follows:

Life is too short,
So be kind to one another.
Learn to share your smile,
Even with strangers.
Cherish Life Today,
For Tomorrow, May Never Come…

Watching leaves is my favorite hobby.
Some of you may think I’m crazy,
But this is the reality of my life.
I’m not a poet, just putting my thoughts together.

I used to have short hair, not quite but below my shoulder. Not because I wanted to cut it short, was because my little sister messed it up. I cried for weeks:)))) +Frederik Van Eeden

I'm not kidding +Dattatray Khenat I love reading poetry, but I don't know how write. Just to compile the thoughts, like this one, I don't have any problem. When I see something I can come up with plenty of words in relations to life. Just don't know how to turn them into a poem.

I study Buddhism over twenty years.
Leaves play a very important role in Buddhism.
Falling leaves is the message for many things.
And I am a leaf watcher :)))) Watching falling leaves is my favorite hobby. So I always see leaves as messengers +Michael Howell

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
