  2. A love like that

    Comment

“And still, after all this time,
The sun never says to the earth,
    “You owe Me.”

    Look what happens with
    A love like that,
    It lights the Whole Sky.”
    ― Hafez

Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby. ~Langston Hughes

    Comment

    Each morning…
    You have changed the whole
    color scheme of my life,
    from black and white
to the bright colors in this world.
    Thanks to you,
I have a reason to smile
    each morning I wake up.

  5. Wishing you a Fruitful Day!

    73

Do you know what the past day symbolized?
    It symbolized a lesson,
a lesson that was taught and was left
to you to learn or leave and let go.
Do you know what today represents?
It is an opportunity to use the lesson
learnt the last day and to move forward
towards your goal and your aims.

  6. Although time seems to fly

    188

Although time seems to fly, it never travels faster than one day at a time. Each day is a new opportunity to live your life to the fullest. In each waking day, you will find scores of blessings and opportunities for positive change. Do not let your TODAY be stolen by the unchangeable past or the indefinite future! Today is a new day! ~Steve Maraboli

  8. What we do today matters most

    Comment

We may have a bad day but there is something good in every day, and you do you know what’s that? It is waking up and still having the chance to live. Each good morning we are born again, what we do today is what matters most. ~Good morning quote

  9. We have stopped for a moment

    Comment

We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment but it is transient. It is a little parenthesis in eternity. If we share caring, lightheartedness, and love, we will create abundance and joy for each other. And then this moment will be worthwhile. ~ Deepak Chopra

  10. In life…

    Comment

In life you can never be too kind or too fair; everyone you meet is carrying a heavy load. When you go through your day expressing kindness and courtesy to all you meet, you leave behind a feeling of warmth and good cheer, and you help alleviate the burdens everyone is struggling with. ~ Brian Tracy

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
