1. Something greater than pleasure

    Comment

To a man, sex is the ultimate expression of love. It is pure pleasure. But to a woman there exists something greater than pleasure―gestures of adoration. A gentle caress on the cheek, an attentive smile, a soft kiss while swept away in a slow dance, the whispered words, ‘You’re beautiful’―these are the tokens of love that women cherish. ~Richelle E. Goodrich

  2. The power of friendship

    Comment

Don’t underestimate the power of friendship. Those bonds are tight stitches that close up the holes you might otherwise fall through. ~Richelle E. Goodrich

  3. Whisper a prayer…

    Comment

    Don’t ever give up.
    Don’t ever give in.
    Don’t ever stop trying.
    Don’t ever sell out.
And if you find yourself succumbing to one of the above for a brief moment,
pick yourself up, brush yourself off, whisper a prayer, and start where you left off.
But never, ever, ever give up.

  4. Unconditional opportunity

    Comment

This new day has greeted us with no rules; unconditional opportunity. Do not dilute the power of this new day with the hardship of yesterday. Greet this day the way it has greeted you; with open arms and endless possibility. ~Steve Maraboli

Each new day is a blank page in the diary of your life.

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
