1. Keep going

    21

Even though he may not act like it, a 1-year-old puppy is considered an adult! This is the equivalent to a human at 15 years of age. Not even old enough to vote, your pup is all grown up and ready for the world of adulthood! Source: SheKnows

  2. Love is too strong ♥

    28

Love is too strong and life is too short. You have to love with your heart and live with your faith; you have to believe in yourself so nothing will put you down. You are an angel that god has laid down, He has created you not only because that is what He does but because He wants to watch you live HIS life you have to follow your dreams and get somewhere in the future ahead, if you make bad choices he’s going to take you back and send you to heaven or to hell. ~Abby Wainwright

  3. Heart that will love you

    Comment

To let someone realize how special you are, try to stay away so that they miss you…
BUT don’t stay away for such a long time that they will learn how to live without you.

Find arms that will hold you at your weakest,
Eyes that will see you at your ugliest,
Heart that will love you at your worst,
and if you have found it,
    You’ve found True Love.

    What is more painful?
When a person whom you trust, hurts you?
or the person whom you hurt, still trusts you?
    Think about that.

  6. Dog loves baby very much

    Comment

Like humans, puppies are born without teeth. However, they can’t hear, see or smell! Puppies don’t open their eyes or begin to hear until they’re 9 to 12 days old. They can’t smell until three weeks post birth. Until then, it’s very important for the mini-puppies to stay close to mom and their siblings to eat and grow properly. Source: SheKnows

  7. An instrument of peace

    Comment

“The most valuable possession you can own is an open heart. The most powerful weapon you can be is an instrument of peace.” ― Carlos Santana

Someone who is angry is someone who doesn’t know how to handle their suffering. They are the first victim of their suffering, and you are actually the second victim. Once we can see this, compassion is born in our heart and anger evaporates. We don’t want to punish them any more, but instead we want to say something or do something to help them suffer less. ~Thich Nhat Hanh

  8. Playful parrot kicking kitty

    Comment

The parrot is believed to be one of the most intelligent of all the bird species, mainly in the sense that parrots are able to replicate (mimic) the noises made around them. Some parrots are able to mimic modern sounds and human voices to almost perfection. One African grey parrot was found to have a vocabulary of more than 800 words!

Nearly all of the different parrot species around the world are known to live for a long time, particularly in comparison to other species of bird (even other species of animal). The average lifespan of the parrot is around 60 years although it is not uncommon for parrots to be much older ages, as many parrot individuals have reached the age of 100. Source: a-z animals

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
