1. Kitty sneaks out to play

    Comment

Your kitty will flash you their tummy: Like most animals, cats do not show their stomachs to just anyone. If your cat rolls over on its back to give you a flash of that fuzzy belly, this is an indication that they feel comfortable around you. And not only this, but they feel loved and protected by you, rendering themselves defenseless while on their backs. Cats are prideful animals, so if they do this for you they have no concerns letting their guard down when in your presence. Source: iheartcats

  3. As far as love is concerned

    Comment

You can love as many people as you want – that does not mean one day you will
go bankrupt, and you will have to declare, ‘Now I have no love.’
You cannot go bankrupt as far as love is concerned. ~Osho

  4. Seeker of truth

    Comment

The real seeker of truth never seeks truth. On the contrary,
he tries to clean himself of all that is untrue, inauthentic,
insincere – and when his heart is ready, purified, the guest comes.
You cannot find the guest, you cannot go after him.
He comes to you; you just have to be prepared.
You have to be in a right attitude. ~Osho

  5. A cat is a lot smarter than an iPad

    Comment

You may think your new tablet is awesome: so much processing power, so much storage space, so much speed. But don’t gloat too much, because your cat’s brain can smoke your iPad. A typical iPad has 60 gigabytes of data storage space, but your cat’s brain has about 91,000 gigabytes. In terms of processing speed, your iPad does about 170 million operations per second. Your cat’s brain, on the other hand, does 6.1 trillion operations per second. Unfortunately, your cat doesn’t have wi-fi and 4G data access. Source: Catster

  6. The sunshine of life

    Comment

Friendship is precious, not only in the shade,
but in the sunshine of life; and thanks to a benevolent
arrangement of things, the greater part of life is sunshine.

    ~Thomas Jefferson

  7. Kitty does not want to be on camera

    Comment

Cat families usually play best in even numbers. Cats and kittens should be acquired in pairs whenever possible. A fifteen year old cat has probably spent ten years of its life sleeping. A frightened cat can run at speeds of up to 31 mph, slightly faster than a human sprinter. Source: AnimalLeague

  8. Take the time to just listen

    Comment

Sometimes people are holding things in, but really are just waiting
for someone to take the time to just listen and not judge. ~Unknown

  10. Make your own wherever you are

    Comment

Before you say I can’t, make sure you’ve tried.
Before you let doubts stop you, confront them with facts.
Before fear holds you back, go foward with faith.
Before you go looking for happiness, make your own wherever you are.

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
