Respect everyone and earn the respect of others. Respect your friends, your family, and your lovers by validating their opinions and experiences. Try to understand them deeply, on a personal level. Ask them questions, have long discussions, and open your heart. Understand that the other person has their own wishes and desires, and rights to privacy and dignity.     Jendhamuni Sos, my dear friend, it is important to open up your heart. When we open up our hearts to people, others can see a deep part of us. This is wonderful and sometimes scary. Wonderful because we can share our hopes and dreams but scary because we may not like what we see and feel rejection.
