1. Very tired kittens

    Comment

Your little group of kindles is a miracle in progress. At birth, kittens are entirely reliant on their mothers for food and warmth. Their tiny bodies can’t regulate temperature very well and they often crawl over each other in a pile of kitty warmth. Kittens’ eyes and ear canals are closed during their first few days of life, rendering them unable to see or hear one another. Newborn kittens spend their first weeks eating, sleeping and cuddling in order to survive. Source: thenest

  4. Dogs need love and people to care for them

    Comment

Dogs feel pain. Dogs are sensitive and feel all sorts of sensations, such as pain, pleasure, heat, cold and everything in between. In many ways, they are just like us. Most of us don’t like to be in the snow, naked and hungry with a tight chain around our necks. It is common for dogs to feel the same way about sensations. Dogs need people. Dogs speak a language other than English. In fact, they do not speak any language known to man, as of yet. Therefore, dogs need people to care for them, provide for them and give them a voice when they need to be heard. If a dog is in pain, he’ll let you know, but it is up to you to do something about it. And dogs do make noise. They bark, whimper, whine and cry, especially when left unattended. Therefore, be prepared to hear noises from your dog; they are not silent creatures. 5. True and pure love

    Comment

A true girl should love her boyfriend like her child.
A true boy should value his girlfriend like his mom.
Because no boy can hurt his mom. And no girl can love
someone more than her own child. ~sms modified

  6. Kitty eating pancakes

    Comment

Keep in mind that dry foods are not refrigerated and they sit in warm warehouses, on pet store shelves, and in your cupboards for weeks or months before your pets consume them. Fats can easily become rancid, and bacteria will proliferate, in this type of environment. There is no doubt that dry food is responsible for far more intestinal problems, and other diseases, than most veterinarians and cat owners realize. The three key negative issues associated with dry food are:

    1) water content is too low
    2) carbohydrate load is too high
    3) type of protein – too high in plant-based versus animal-based proteins

  9. Plants need water, but not this kind

    Comment

After dogs eat and drink water, their bodies need to eliminate what they have digested and it comes out of their rears as waste. Their urine, is usually yellow and can stain carpeting, furniture, clothing, you name it. In fact, male dogs can urinate on things that are above the ground or floor because they lift their legs when they pee. A dog can pee on the side of a couch or even on your windows. And they don’t always eliminate outdoors. Source: Animal Liberation Front

  10. Love comes to those…

to those who still believe although they’ve been betrayed, to those who still love
although they’ve been hurt before. ~smsrange

Shantidevas’ Bodhisattva vows

My reflection

Should anyone wish to ridicule me and make me an object of jest and scorn why should I possibly care if I have dedicated myself to others?

Let them do as they wish with me so long as it does not harm them. May no one who encounters me ever have an insignificant contact.

Regardless whether those whom I meet respond towards me with anger or faith, may the mere fact of our meeting contribute to the fulfilment of their wishes.

May the slander, harm and all forms of abuse that anyone should direct towards me act as a cause of their enlightenment.

As a solid rock is not shaken by the wind, so the wise are not shaken by blame and praise. As a deep lake is clear and calm, so the wise become tranquil after they listened to the truth…

Good people walk on regardless of what happens to them. Good people do not babble on about their desires. Whether touched by happiness or by sorrow, the wise never appear elated or depressed. ~The Dhammapada

Beauty in nature

A beautiful object has no intrinsic quality that is good for the mind, nor an ugly object any intrinsic power to harm it. Beautiful and ugly are just projections of the mind. The ability to cause happiness or suffering is not a property of the outer object itself. For example, the sight of a particular individual can cause happiness to one person and suffering to another. It is the mind that attributes such qualities to the perceived object. — Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche

Nature is loved by what is best in us. The sky, the mountain, the tree, the animal, give us a delight in and for themselves. — Ralph Waldo Emerson

Our journey for peace
begins today and every day.
Each step is a prayer,
Each step is a meditation,
Each step will build a bridge.
