Our life

Our life depends on the kind of thoughts we nurture. If our thoughts are peaceful, calm, meek, and kind, then that is what our life is like. If our attention is turned to the circumstances in which we live, we are drawn into a whirlpool of thoughts and can have neither peace nor tranquility. ~Thaddeus of Vitovnica

    لقاء الروح بين موج العشق في قارب الروعة
    سحبني من أحضان الغفلة لموعد وراء البحر
    على رياح أساطير العشق العذري في رائعة ابن الملوح
    أحضرت فرساني وحرقت شراعي ومزقت أفكاري
    فبكى الريح خشية المواجهة لكتيبة العشق الهائجة
    أنت معي في جفن العتمة و غيبوبة الصحوة
    في بوتقة اللهفة و جنون اللمسة في جلال الخوف
    تمسكي بغيبوبتي لا تنبشي في زحمة لجمة العرف
    أوقفت أحلامي وغزوت نبعة وجداني وفجرت نيراني
    فغدوت اسيرك يا غادتي، أحتمي منك بك في هول معركتي
    لا تهربي من شرياني،
    لا تنسحبي فأنا أكتب تاريخ معركتي
    أنا سيدتي أفتح ساحل عاجي وانشيء فيه مملكتي
    في هدوء ليلة الموعد على رموش البحر
    ردت حائرتي بعد هروب الليل و نوم القمر
    ورحيل جيشي وتكفين أطلالي:
    "عادت خيولي الصاهلةمن رحلة العشق متعبة السنابك
    "
    تجربتها كانت ساحرة في معركة الحب العفوي
    في مواجهة جيش عتي
    لا نريد أن نطفئ الشوق فهو وقود الحياة
    دعيه يبث الدفىء في الروح ويحيي خلايا العشق…
    يا زنبقة الليل و عصفورة الصباح على ضفاف بحر الموعد

    Mother Teresa did not live a life of being at peace with herself, and she was not a pacifist. Most of her life was a daily struggle, a "Dark Night of the Soul", which she wrote about. Since you admire her, as I also do, you may be interested in finding out more about her life.

Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from.
