My only true belongings

Our true home is not in the past. Our true home is not in the future. Our true home is in the here and the now. Life is available only in the here and the now, and it is our true home. Mindfulness is the energy that helps us recognize the conditions of happiness that are already present in our lives. You don’t have to wait ten years to experience this happiness. It is present in every moment of your daily life. There are those of us who are alive but don’t know it. But when you breathe in, and you are aware of your in-breath, you touch the miracle of being alive. That is why mindfulness is a source of happiness and joy. My actions are my only true belongings. I cannot escape the consequences of my actions. My actions are the ground on which I stand. ~Thich Nhat Hanh

Dear Jendhamuni Sos you are just like my little sister what I want to say is not an exaggeration but only what I feel. You have always a happy and smiling face with softness on it. Your eyes are affectionate and loving for everyone, your mind is sharp brilliant and philosophic, still your heart is very soft and kind and it is also attached with your soil and future of the citizens of your county. I wish you success in all fields

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
