+Steve Tuffill I can only switch to a single-column view for the home stream only, but not my profile. This is where I switch: Go to your "Home" stream, click "More" and find at bottom the "Stream Layout" toggle. The three column-view is very painful to navigate via scroll bar.

+Steve Tuffill Yes, I will play around with it, the next 24 hours. Just have some work to get done first. I will let you know, if I'm able to fix the mess. Very very hard to navigate on computer right now. Too many iframes. Clean, but hard to scroll, even with my large monitor.

It does not work +Alan Peto Only works on incoming streams, not profile. It does not look too bad on a laptop, because the screen is smaller, so it only shows two column instead of three. But on my pc, it looks aweful, with the three-column view, i do not like it at all.

+Jendhamuni Sos oh yes, you're right.  I thought you were just asking about the stream 🙂  Make sure you click that 'Send feedback' button and let the G+ team know!  I did already.  It's responsive though, so if you make your browser window smaller, it will resize…but I agree.  Looks a lot like Pinterest! haha
