Hope is Courage

No matter how hopeless or bleak things appear, the moment always comes when suddenly our spirit revives, and hope is reborn. That is why we must never give up. ~Daisku Ikeda

Hi JS, I just wrote a long comment & accidentally deleted it, basically I was sayin we all cre8 our own st8 of mind, whether ur sittin in a concrete cell or atop a beautiful waterfall, it's still u, & the only thing stoppin u in the cell from perceiving life atop a waterfall is ourselves. I kno sum extreme situations do arise such as physical/mental torture, wit this imposition it would b hard 2 think of much else, but I blieve it's in our power 2 cre8 our own reality or 2 perceive th@ wot we wish 2, it would take incredible discipline 2 b able 2 do this in an extreme situation, but fear is a massive intrusion on ur mind, 1 th@ affects ur body in many ways, I do blieve ther r those disciplined enough 2 do this in any situation, I've gone on a bit, hope I dint get 2 off-track, but I thought it a good & relevant comment. Hope u r well my fren 🙂

Staying in the Moment is the Key. There no past just Pre-sent eternity. The future is created only in the NOW.

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
