Drops of water from a lotus flower

If you are filled with desire
Your sorrows swell
Like the grass after the rain.
But if you subdue desire
Your sorrows shall fall from you
Like drops of water from a lotus flower.

1 of the easiest truths of Buddhism 4 me 2 grasp is the concept th@ desire leads 2 being un-satisfied & in effect un-happy. 2 b grateful 4 ur blessings, instead of dwelling on 1s u feel ur lacking is an obvious key 2 being happier, I don't wish 2 sound @ all arrogant, just stating how simplistic sum of the wisest thoughts r, most r actually, I think truth is simple, it shouldn't b complicated, th@s wot I feel 🙂

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.
