Dogs and baby

A fully grown adult dog has 42 teeth. A fully grown person has 32. The average dog is thought to be about as intelligent as the average two year old child, according to research by leading animal psychologists in America. Dogs have no sense of time in the same way that we do, although their body clocks dictate their need for food and going to the toilet, which is why owners often think their dogs are responding to specific times of the day with a conscious awareness of time passed. Figuring out how a fishing rod works in 10 minutes was done by my Rottweiler. Bit beyond a 2 year old I would say.

That's right my mommy buys it for you.

Myself, being a long time dog person "63 yrs." I can say my current pup is about 15yrs. in mentality, and growing. With all fairness, they are not accurate, they have the wrong testing for love and mental and emotional growth.

A good dog knows his place in the human pack. We wouldn't be able to trust them otherwise.

Cute dog and baby, but its still an animal and I would never let an adult let alone a baby play with a dogs plate. Animals are unpredictable.

I did this as a baby. I would also sit in the cupboard where the dry dog food was kept and I would sit there going "One for you, One for me"
Feeding the dogs myself the dog food. XD

And people wonder why dogs bite children, well here you go this dumb dog owner shows us how. The baby is competing for food in the dogs eyes. Most dog bites are not the dogs fault but their thick owners. Leave the dog to eat it's food in peace.

Les parents doivent apprendre aux enfants ,ne pas déranger quand un animal mange, cela peut être dangereux

Whenever I have a puppy in the house, I always do 2 things: I constantly play with their paws so that nail-cutting is easy. I also harass them constantly while they are eating. Then they get that I am the leader of the pack and they respect that. I have never been afraid to leave my small kids alone with my big dogs.

Some peoples dogs have been known to be at the door waiting for them to return 10-15 minutes before the owner returns. and this is constant. This is evidence dogs do have a sense of time.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
