A Woman's Beauty

The beauty of a woman
Is not determined by a man
Her beauty can be found in her grace
Not just the beauty of her face
It can be found in her style
It can also be found in her smile
Her beauty is in her thoughts
Not just what she has been taught
It can also be found in her soul
It cannot go untold
Her beauty is within her
She does not need to lure
Anyone, because her presence
It is her whole essence
A woman’s beauty is in her heart
Her beauty is her art

That is an enlightening statement. Indeed, beauty isn't measured strictly a man's preference. It's a part, but not the whole.

This is beautiful! Tell us more about it: is it your backyard? Whay kind of flowrring tree is it? What time of day? Looks like it was raining very hard. Does the rain is what cause the flowers to fall to the ground? It is a very romantic scene. I loved it, thank you for posting it.

Beauty not determined by man…for whom should determine who or what is beautiful? Objectively speaking we recognize God as that ultimate standard of beauty. Woman reflects those beautiful qualities with which her creator made her to possess so as to glorify His beauty in the world. We are His workmanship and are created in His image. Marred by sin, made whole by the grace of God through His gift to the world, Jesus Christ. When woman or man imitate Jesus we become more beautiful that before. My words are not as eloquent as Ms JStar but true non the less. May we all put on the beauty of spiritual oneness with God by trusting in His son. May God bless you all.

We recognize beauty of essence, by the way it feels to us. This is the beauty of solitude and the stroke of melodic rain.

    She carries in the candles
    And lights the curtained room
    Shy in the doorway
    And shy in the gloom.
Shy as a rabbit; helpful and shy
To an isle in the water
    With her I would fly.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
