Solving Human Problems through Transforming Human Attitudes

Of the many problems we face today, some are natural calamities and must be accepted and faced with equanimity. Others, however, are of our own making, created by misunderstanding, and can be corrected. One such type arises from the conflict of ideologies, political or religious, when people fight each other for petty ends, losing sight of the basic humanity that binds us all together as a single human family. We must remember that the different religions, ideologies, and political systems of the world are meant for human beings to achieve happiness. We must not lose sight of this fundamental goal and at no time should we place means above ends; the supremacy of humanity over matter and ideology must always be maintained. ~Daila Lama

    its a nice post.problms are always at the day drawn.but communication in direct smtimes takes solution itself.otherwise blame to unnecessarily goes to air but no frtful point gets there.wise ppl only know the use of ego, charctor,personality etc in better way not to use to blame.so if human cant' solve their own problem it is wise to say animals in jungle are very happy.

    You are right Jen, all the laws, systems, constitutions and guidelines are made for the uniform purpose to protect " HUMANITY". According to the article " Declaration of independence " written by George Washington on the event of independence of America _ " Constitution of an administrative body, a society, an organisation or a country is not a permanent solution. But it should be rectified and amended from time to time or may be demolished for a new one according to the needs of changing world". Have a wonderful day ahead Jendhamuni Sos.

    Although we would like to think that humanity,  and ourselves, are expanding in areas of conscious awareness around Love, Light, Compassion, Caring, Joy, Fun and Happiness, there is still a world "out there" around us catches our attention to the continuous drama of appearances of anger, hate, fearfulness, darkness, and just general unpleasantness.  If I am not careful, I can easily be sucked into such a drama and play out a role to continue such an unpleasant drama.  And, other than completely retreating from all contact with people and drama, I know that I need social connections and interaction to continue my own levels of expanded, conscious, awakening awareness of the Light and Love available for experience in this Human Life.  Thus, there is the regular need for balance and mindfulness if I am to have compassion for those affected by natural calamities, as well as ideological differences and struggle.  It definitely is the balance on the razor's edge, to be focused on my own expansion and to acknowledge and accept with compassion the challenges of others.  Thank you, +Jendhamuni Sos for posting such a wise observation of HH The Dalai Lama.  OM!  Sant Nam!
